UESF Historic 4-Day Strike Leads to Major Wins for Educators, Students and Working People Across SF!

Through the collective power and solidarity of educators, parents, students and community support, UESF won fully funded healthcare, sanctuary and housing for students, additional supports for special education, and equitable raises for both classified and certificated staff. This strike made it clear what is possible when we join together and fight for the stability our schools and students deserve.

San Diego Educators Win!

After almost a year of negotiations, SDEA educators fought hard to win expanded mental health supports for students, protections for immigrant and LGBTQ+ students, credentialing pathways to fill special education vacancies, improved educator pay, protections against layoffs, and more! This landmark agreement will benefit students, educators and the broader San Diego community for years to come.

Sacramento Area is Strike Ready!

Members of West Sacramento Teachers Association (WSTA), Twin Rivers United Educators (TRUE) and Natomas Teachers Association (NTA) are all preparing to strike for the safe, stable and fully staffed schools all students deserve. Each chapter held strike authorization votes earlier this month, and members have overwhelmingly voted to strike, if necessary, to win the resources Sacramento students deserve.
