United Teachers of Richmonddeclared impasse on the evening of August 19th after months of bargainingmeetings between UTR and the West Contra Costa Unified School District(WCCUSD). On August 26th, PERB certified the impasse, and UTR will move tomediation; which is currently set for September 15th. The path forward remainsclear: we continue to organize and we build the collective power it will taketo win.
